Jeff interviews Professor Nancy Neiman Auerbach, of Scripps College, Claremont.  She is the Creative  Director of the Fallen Fruit from Rising Women program.  A unique program designed to empower women in the Crossroads transition program for newly released inmates.  Using locally donated backyard fruit, the women of Crossroads and college interns produce specialty salts, marmalades, preserves, granola, kombucha and other specialty items.
