What does Wine, Sleeping Beauty and Motocross have in common? They all come together at Briar Rose Winery in Temecula. Known at “Temecula Valley’s Premier Boutique Winery,” their wine is produced in handcrafted, small lots with artisan techniques. Owners, Les and Dorian Linkogie purchased the land in the 1990’s from Belden Fields. Field’s worked for for Walt Disney as an artisan on Disneyland’s Fantasyland and Toon Town. On his land in built replicas of Snow White’s cottage. The Linkogie’s first moved here for their son, Larry to ride his motorcycle. Larry went on to a successful career in the Freeride Motocross world. Eventually, some of the estate was turned into a vineyard, growing: Cabernet Sauvignons, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Francs and many more.
