This week on the Savory Road we visited the The Boys Republic in Chino Hills. They recently added to their culinary program a Baking program led by Chef Kevin Brown. The Bakery now provides all kinds of baked items to the students and now to Chino Hill’s farmers market. At the market they are selling breads, pastries and coming soom: Holiday goods: Pumpkin pies, Pumpkin bread and other breads and rolls.
The Boys Republic, is a private, nonprofiit school and treatment community for troubled boy’s and girls. Founded in 1907 more that 30,000 at-risk youth have been through the program. Read more
