The Kroft, at the Anaheim Packing District, famous for the Canadian specialty “Poutine” has now opened another location at the new Union Market in Tustin. Hugh, an owner of “The Kroft” invited us to their media opening. As usual we rolled out of the event with boxes of left-over poutines.
A traditional poutine is french fries, with cheese curds and gravy poured on top. Known throughout Canada and now we are seeing poutines pop-up all over. The Kroft takes the trational poutine and ramps it up, serving up a Chicken Pot Pie, short rib and a Chicken Curry Katsu poutines.
